Kindergarten registration packets are mailed out each year to families of students in our database who are eligible to attend kindergarten the next school year.
- Kindergarten Registration times are different each year. Contact the school for more information.
Kindergarten packets must be filled out completely in order for a child to be fully registered for kindergarten. Please note that residency documents are required even if you have a child already attending school in our district. Acceptable forms of proof of residency for Mohonasen Central School District can be found here.
To be clear, you must include current immunizations and physicals with your registration packet. Packets should only include copies of important documents, not the originals.
Please call 518-356-8222 to register, or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
If you have not received a kindergarten packet, please fill out the Preschool Census Form and return it to Bradt School. Forms may be dropped off or mailed to 2719 Hamburg Street, Schenectady, NY 12303.
Children who will be five years old on or before December 1 in any given year are eligible to begin kindergarten in September of the following year.
Prekindergarten Common Core Standards
As standards and expectations have changed over the years for students in grades K-12, so have those for prekindergarten students. We are providing an abbreviated version of the national common core curriculum standards for prekindergarten students, which have been adopted by school districts across New York State, along with example activities parents can do with their child(ren) to reinforce these concepts and skills.
