Pinewood students in Katherine Daggett’s class took part in a letter-writing project last year, where they reached out to their favorite authors to share their admiration and ask questions about the writing process. Just recently, the class received responses from Jeff Kinney, author of the popular “Diary of a Wimpy Kid” series.
The students were absolutely thrilled to hear back from one of their literary idols, and the experience has further inspired their love of reading and writing.
