The district is pleased to share that we will be collaborating with Rotterdam Community Center (RCC) and Bread of Life to host a mobile food pantry at Mohonasen during the upcoming school year. This partnership will help us further support families in our school community who may benefit from additional food support.
To raise funds and awareness for the mobile food pantry at Mohonasen, as well as RCC’s Nutrition Security Programs serving our community, RCC will be hosting two upcoming events:
Brooks BBQ Fundraiser
Saturday, August 8
Rotterdam Community Center, 705 Curry Road
Beginning at 3 p.m. and continuing until dinners are sold out.
- Chicken Meal – $16 with cash/ $17 with card (Meal included chicken, baked potato, coleslaw, dinner roll, and dessert)
- Chicken only – $11 with cash/ $12 with card
Read-a-thon
Saturday, August 15
Rotterdam Community Center, 705 Curry Road from 9 a.m.-9 p.m.
Readers of all ages are invited to enjoy 12 hours of reading, food, refreshments, and community connection. Children under age 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
Family hours for children under 15:
9-11 a.m.
2-4 p.m.
