Pesticide Notification


This memorandum is intended to provide the first periodic notification of pesticide application as required by NYSED Law 409-h.

The following product was used by the Mohonasen Central School District for pest management on the high school athletic fields and contains pesticides in the form of herbicides. The following product was applied on October 26, 2025, by TruGreen Lawn Care to address weed and pest control.

Product Application Dates, Identifiers, and Hazard Statements:

Change Up Selective Herbicide, EPA# 228-445
Harmful if swallowed. May be fatal if swallowed and enters the airways. Causes serious eye irritation. Causes skin irritation.

More information about the product(s) used can be provided upon request. Written notification of pesticide applications is offered to those who have enrolled in the 48-hour Notification Registry. Persons wishing to receive direct written communication about future pesticide applications are encouraged to join the Registry by contacting the district pesticide representative, Michael Sherman, Director of Facilities (518-356-8228.) All other questions regarding pesticides may also be directed to Mr. Sherman.
