Event Description:
When your child turns 18, they are legally considered an adult—yet the journey to independence is just beginning. As a parent, your role remains vital, but without proper planning, privacy laws may limit your ability to assist in important situations. This session will provide guidance on essential legal steps that ensure you remain involved in your child’s health care and financial decisions. Key topics include critical documents such as health care proxies and HIPAA authorizations.
