The District is holding a curbside food drive to stock our building pantries. These pantries directly support district families facing food insecurity. The drive is sponsored by the Mohonasen National and Junior Honor Society.
Date: Saturday, Nov. 15
Time: 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Location: In front of the MHS Auditorium
We are seeking the following items:
Boxes of:
- Deluxe macaroni and cheese
- Macaroni and cheese (individual servings or boxes)
- Ramen noodle soup
- Spaghetti sauce (jars preferred)
- Granola bars
- Fruit snacks
- Microwave popcorn
- Pop-Tarts
- Rice and/or noodle side dishes
- Individual cups of pudding and Jell-O
- Fruit cups or canned fruit
- Hot chocolate packets
- Boxes of cereal
Bags, boxes, or individual packets of:
- Crackers
- Goldfish
- Pretzels
- Saltines (box of individually wrapped sleeves)
Additional items:
- Juice boxes or pouches
- Canned tuna and chicken
Kindly make sure all donations are unopened and within their expiration date.
Drop-off Details:
Donations can be dropped off curbside, and our volunteers will be happy to assist. Every contribution, big or small, makes a meaningful difference in supporting our families. If you can’t make it on Nov. 15, please contact Deborah Kavanaugh at dkavanaugh@mohonasen.org to arrange an alternative drop-off time.
Faculty Donation Option:
Boxes will be placed in each building by the main entrance by Nov. 12 if faculty members would like to donate.
