The social studies team at Draper is raising funds for Disabled American Veterans (DAV). All donations raise critical funds to support DAV’s life-changing services for veterans in need and their families.
For every $250 collected the DAV will send 24 small US flags to Draper that will be planted by students. The goal is to raise money in October, receive the flags from DAV, and plant the flags before Veterans Day.

The Field of Flags is an important civic activity for our students to create a visual for all community members to honor local veterans.
Upon request, donations can be made to honor veteran family members or friends by making a donation of $10 or more. When donating, note the name and branch of service of the veteran you wish to honor on the donation site. The names and branch of service of sponsored veterans will be displayed on a sign set near the flags.
The DAV is an organization created in 1920 by World War I veterans for disabled military veterans of the United States Armed Forces that helps them and their families through various means. All donations raise critical funds to support life-changing services for veterans in need and their families
