Several higher education institutions offer current high school students the opportunity to take college coursework with the hopes of applying that coursework toward high school credit.
Some of these opportunities are offered for free, and provide a great experience for students looking to enrich their education. However, please be aware that all requests for high school credit must be approved in advance by the credit-awarding institution, which in this case is Mohonasen High School.
Students not seeking high school credit can certainly enroll in any of these college courses and will earn college credit and a college transcript. Students who are seeking high school credit should submit this form, to determine whether their coursework will be approved for credit before proceeding. Should a student enroll and take a college course and then seek approval for high school credit after the fact, please know there is a likelihood that the request will not be approved.
This does not apply to college in the high school (CHS) courses or UHS offered at Mohonasen High School.
