For the month of March, Bradt Primary is opening its doors to registered incoming kindergarten students and their families for a read aloud. During the visit, children and their families will join a teacher for a book read-aloud in the library or their classroom. This is a great opportunity for your child to become familiar with the building and staff members.

Kindergarten registration packets will be mailed out to families on February 13, as long as a census form has been completed. Completed forms may be dropped off at Bradt between 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., emailed to aldicocco@mohonasen.org or mailed to 2719 Hamburg Street, Schenectady, NY, 12303.
- April 21 – Registration, A-L, 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.
- April 22 – Incoming Kindergarten Parent Orientation, 6 p.m.
- April 23 – Registration, A-L, 5:30-7:30 p.m.
- April 28 – Registration, M-Z, 9 a.m.-12 p.m.
- April 29 – Registration, M-Z, 5:30-7:30 p.m.
- May 14, 15, 18, 19, 20, 21, 23 – Kindergarten screening by appointment only
Kindergarten registration paperwork is due to Bradt by May 1. After this date, all registration paperwork will need to be submitted to the district registrar in the district office.
Kindergarten packets must be filled out completely in order for a child to be fully registered for Kindergarten. Please note that residency documents are required even if you have a student already attending school in the district. You must include current immunizations and physicals with your registration packet. Packets should only include copies of important documents, not the originals.
