As the district welcomes its new Athletic Director, Corey Brown, we sat down with him to learn more about his background and his journey to Mohonasen.

Brown is originally from Clayton, New York, and attended Indian River High School in Philadelphia, NY, before heading south to earn his undergraduate degree at Florida Southern College in Lakeland, Florida. After graduating, he relocated to Colorado to begin his career in education, teaching physical education and health to students in grades 9–12 while also serving as the varsity lacrosse coach for six years.

Brown then spent two years in Columbus, Ohio, completing his administrative internship while teaching middle school physical education and health. He later returned to New York, where he served as Assistant Principal and Athletic Director for the New Lebanon Central School District before joining Mohonasen.
