Winter Guard in farewell performance before trip to WGI championships

Members of the Mohonasen High School Varsity Winter Color Guard will perform a farewell performance at 7 p.m. on Monday, April 9, in the high school gym. The team’s performance comes just a day before they head to Dayton, Ohio, to compete in the Winter Guard International (WGI) World Championships.

The team has been working on their production “Like a Stone,” set to the Chris Cornell song by the same name, since October and has performed at local competitions as well as in Indianapolis, IN and Bethlehem, PA, since January. The team is currently ranked 51st nationally.
