| December 3, 2015

PayItForwardThe Tri-M Music Honor Society, under the guidance of advisers Ms. Kondenar and Ms. Sparlin, performed their first “Pay It Forward” day.

Students in the music honor society were asked to watch students and/or staff members inside the school for one week. The students were encouraged to see how they might be able to do something good for at least three of the people they observed.

On Tuesday, Nov. 24, students were to perform three acts of random kindness for three random people. When they did their good deed, they tagged the student or staff member with a clothes pin stating simply “Pay It Forward.”

Tri-M students encouraged the “tagged” students to keep the movement going by tagging people themselves through good deeds. The music department hopes to continue days like this in the future.
