Three MHS students to perform at High School Musical Theatre Awards at Proctors

Mohonasen student Maria Andrew has been nominated in the Best Supporting Actress category for her role as Marty in “Grease” at the inaugural High School Musical Theatre Awards at Proctors.

Students from over 16 local high schools will perform during this Tony Awards-style show. Maria will perform in the show’s opening and closing numbers alongside classmates Nate Finke and Nina Cerniglia, who also portrayed exciting roles in Mohon Masque’s spring production of “Grease.”

The show takes places at Proctors on May 20 at 7 p.m. Tickets are now available for Mohonasen families and can be purchased online at www.proctors.org or by calling the box office at (518) 346-6204 and using the special code: HSMTA17.
