Sweet rewards for acts of kindness at Draper
It was the kindness of middle schoolers and the generosity of one of the community’s most recognizable businesses that brought plenty of smiles to students at Draper Middle School.
As part of the Great Kindness Challenge — a week of special events for Draper students and staff held last month — students were challenged to keep a 50 Random Acts of Kindness checklist, recording their success in adding to a positive school climate in small, meaningful ways. And because a little competition goes a long way, homerooms got to challenge one another for the chance to win an ice cream social sponsored by Stewart’s Shops.
In the end, it was the students in Mrs. Munger’s sixth-grade homeroom who had the greatest participation in the 50 Random Acts of Kindness Challenge.
Congratulations to Mrs. Munger’s homeroom on their much-deserved sweet rewards and thank you to Stewart’s for sponsoring the ice cream social.
