On Wednesday, March 16, students from programs at Pinewood, Draper and Mohonasen united in the LGI at the High School for some teamwork, skill building, and good old-fashioned fun.
The theme of the day combined Hollywood and music, and so the approximately 25 students from the three schools fittingly kicked off the day with a screening of the film Sing 2. Next, they rotated through several stations that allowed them to demonstrate their creativity, work on some hands-on activities, and do some movement and team-building.
One of the best aspects of the day was that the high school students also showed their leadership skills as they guided their younger peers through the activities at each station.
Thanks to their teachers, School Social Worker Elizabeth Haynesworth, social work intern Taylor West, and these student rock stars for bringing some serious fun to Mohonasen High School.
