Middle school students pose with decorated poetry chapbooksDraper Middle School students in Mrs. Degnan’s seventh-grade ELA class held a Poetry Slam yesterday to show off their poetic skills as their unit on poetry came to an end. Each student read from his or her poetry chapbook, which contained five different types of poems written by the students and two published poems. By the end of their unit, the students were able to annotate poetic devices and decorate their chapbooks to give it their personal flair.
