| November 3, 2017

Mohonasen parents and students are invited to attend a showing and discussion of the film, “Screenagers: Growing Up in The Digital Age” starting at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 14, in the Mohonasen High School Auditorium.

Parents and students are invited to submit questions regarding screen time, social-media use and cyberbullying in advance of Tuesday’s screening and discussion “Screenagers.” Please submit questions to communications@mohonasen.org by end of day Monday, Nov. 13.

The film looks at how the digital age affects children by highlighting the struggles over social media, video games, academics and internet addiction. It also includes insights on how parents and educators can work with students to minimize the harmful effects of digital devices and better navigate the digital world so students have balance in their lives.

Immediately following the approximately hour-long film, school officials will lead an audience discussion.

While the film is generally intended for parents and middle and high school students, elementary school students are welcome to attend with their parents as well.

This event is free. Watch a preview here:
