Pinewood students take home outstanding honors from music festival

Seventeen band and orchestra students from Pinewood Intermediate School participated in the New York State School Music Association’s solo festival held at Bethlehem Middle School on April 7 and 8.

Leading up to their performances, band and orchestra students spent hours practicing and learning scales and solo pieces to perform for an adjudicator. All participating students received scores of either excellent or outstanding for their performed pieces.

Congratulations to the following students who participated in the festival: Kira Bernard, Hannah Crowther, Togba Doe, Cael Sullivan, Tessa McFarland, Savanah Montanaro, Kyle Power, Caleb Pacelli, Vincenzo DiCostanzo, Isabella Bustelos, Julia Varga, Zoe Miller, Madelyn Shults, Jaeden Mosher, Sophia Masseroni, Matthew Cecil, and Ariana Audette.
