| March 23, 2016

Throughout the month of March, Pinewood Intermediate School has made reading a top priority. To foster students’ love of reading and promote literacy, the school has hosted a variety of activities including visits from Ronald McDonald and SouthPaw from the Tri-City ValleyCats, mystery reader sessions featuring student-athletes from the State University at Albany, read-ins with family members and a festive dress-up day.

Students and faculty members alike brought their inspirations to life and donned outfits on March 21 based on their favorite literary characters and authors. The event brought a wealth of color and creativity to the halls of Pinewood, and students were proud to discuss their favorite books throughout the day.
