Pinewood’s goal for this year was $1,000, and the school succeeded that goal, earning $1,051.20. To give you an idea of how Pinewood compares to other schools, Pinewood ranks 29 out of 258 schools in the Capital Region, 330 out of 4,802 schools in NYS and 7,736 out of 97,431 schools in the U.S.
The average collection per school in the Capital District is $434.36, making Pinewood’s collection pretty impressive! Go to the official site, www.BoxTops4education.com, to see what products participate in the Box Tops program. Any money collected is spent on supplies and equipment that benefit our students.
Please continue to send in your Box Tops. There are specially designed collection sheets to make this easy for you to do, and they are a great reminder to clip Box Tops from products you already buy. View a list of participating products at BoxTops4education.com.
Since Box Tops for Education is a never-ending program, we collect Box Tops all year round. Any money collected is spent on supplies and equipment that benefit our students. Please see Mrs. Kline or Mr. Caruso if you need more collection sheets. Thanks to all who participate!
