Opioid Prevention Plus Wellness


Through May 28-31, New Choices Prevention Services will be presenting an Opioid Prevention Plus Wellness (PPW) seminar to students in grades 9-12 during their PE classes. Opioid PPW is a positive youth development program designed to prevent opioid use and promote healthy lifestyle behaviors and positive identities of young people. 

Opioid PPW is a single-session opioid use prevention program designed to increase wellness-enhancing behaviors including physical activity, healthy eating, getting adequate sleep and practicing stress control. It can be implemented in any setting including school, community, health care, sports, at home and others.
