Mohonasen’s Jocelyn Howe brings home top prize from NYS Skills USA Competition
Mohonasen junior Jocelyn Howe, who is studying World Fashion at the Capital Region BOCES Career and Technical Center, earned first place in the Job Interview competition at the NYS Skills USA statewide event in late April.
This past fall, Howe was named the Vice President of the Capital Region BOCES Skills USA Chapter. Her involvement in the World Fashion program and Skills USA has brought her to multiple leadership conferences and service projects this year.
Howe’s top finish in the Job Interview competition at the state event means that next up for her is a trip to the National Skills USA competition, which will be held in Atlanta from June 20-24. Good luck Jocelyn!
