Mohonasen sends 2 choral students to states

Two Mohonasen High School senior choral students have been selected to perform with the All-State Mixed Choir this weekend!

To qualify, Sophie Mathis and George Alden had to score at least a 98 on the toughest All-State NYSSMA solo. Last spring, they each scored a perfect 100, allowing them to join the elite ensemble.

Sophie and George will join top student musicians from across the state on Sunday, Dec. 2 at Eastman School of Music in Rochester.
