Update (11 a.m.): The lockout has been lifted. Working with district officials, local police have determined there is no threat to Mohonasen’s schools.

Mohonasen High School, Draper Middle School and the Center for Advanced Technology were placed on lockout this morning, Friday, Jan. 11, after a robbery was reported at Pioneer Bank in Schenectady.

A lockout is put in place when there is a perceived danger outside the building. Business continues as usual inside the building, however all doors are locked. This is already Mohonasen’s standard procedure during school hours.

We will update you once the lockout is lifted.
