Mohonasen a cappella group places first in ICHSA Northeast Quarterfinals

For Good Measure, Mohonasen High School’s a cappella group, placed first in the Northeast Quarterfinal round of the International Championship of High School A cappella on Jan. 26. The performance was held at the EMPAC Center at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) and involved groups from eight schools from New York and the eastern U.S.

For Good Measure also received specialty awards for “Outstanding Choreography” and senior Nathaniel Finke was recognized for his “Outstanding Vocal Percussion.”

The group will now advance to the semifinal round of competition on March 24 in Worcester, MA. Tickets for this event can be purchased at www.varsityvocals.com.
