Middle School Honors & Accelerated Information for 2022-23

Applications will soon be available for students interested in enrolling in Honors English (Grade 8), Accelerated Mathematics (Grades 6-8), and Accelerated Science (Grades 7 and 8) at Draper Middle School for the 2022-2023 academic year. Students can access the application(s) starting April 11th. Check the district website starting April 11th where updated communication will be provided with links for each accelerated/honors application. Once the registration links are made available, students must submit the digital application(s) by Friday, April 29, at 3pm. Enrollment letters will be mailed home in June. All students interested must apply, including students currently enrolled in an accelerated or honors course.

Students must register using their Mohonasen login credentials and it is recommended that students use their school-issued Chromebooks to streamline the registration process.

If parents, guardians, and/or prospective students would like to attend a virtual information session, there will be a Google Meet held Monday, April 11th, at 6pm via the link provided.

We currently offer the following honors and accelerated courses at Draper Middle School:

• Accelerated Math 6
• Accelerated Math 7
• Regents Algebra 1 – Grade 8
• Accelerated Science 7
• Regents Living Environment – Grade 8
• English 8 Honors
