High school students take notes on miniature roller coaster constructed out of paper and classroom materials

Physics students at Mohonasen High School transformed their classroom into a miniature theme park today as they put their latest projects to the test.

The students were tasked with creating energy transfer devices – rollercoasters, in this case – and put their finished products on display today to give their classmates a chance to test and rate their creations. Marbles served as rollercoaster “passengers,” and the students were able to observe “rides” from start to finish before casting their votes.
