Dear Parents and Guardians,
As we approach the end of the first semester, we are gearing up for our midterm/final exam week, during which Regents exams will also be offered. We will also offer the ASVAB, or Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery, to interested juniors and seniors. Monday, January 23, will remain a regular day of school. Starting on Tuesday, January 24, there will be no regular school/ classes for high school students. Students will only attend school when/if they have an exam.
Regular school transportation will be available each day. Additionally, mid-day buses will be available to take students home after morning exams. Mid-day buses are also available to pick up students who only have afternoon exams. Mid-day pickup is by reservation only, and reservations can be made here. Breakfast and lunch will be served each day.
To provide and maintain a secure testing environment, no backpacks, bags, or electronic devices will be permitted. Upon arrival, students will have the opportunity to check in phones and bags before proceeding into the building. We use metal detection wands to ensure that students comply with the important request to not bring electronic devices into testing locations.
