| April 29, 2019

Mohonasen High School will host the annual Media Arts Festival beginning at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 8. The event is a celebration and a showcase of the multimedia artwork students created during the school year.

Students in Mr. Veeder’s Media Arts and Live Production courses will showcase their movie shorts. Over the course of the year, students completed the full cycle of media production from idea development, storyboard creation, researching, filming, editing and production. Student complete works will be presented in the LGI.

Graphic Art and Digital Photography students in Mrs. Mathieu’s classes will display their art in various digital portfolio presentations.  Since September, students have used Adobe In-Design, Illustrator, and Photoshop to create unique artistic projects.

Not to be missed are the original music pieces created by students in Mrs. Sparlin’s Music Production Course.  This year, student-created works were used at MiSci to accompany a planetarium show titled “I See Stars.” Students will be presenting new and unique productions created over the course of the year.

Parents and community members are invited to share in the celebration of the creative hard work of our media arts students!
