| March 19, 2021

The local power/thrash metal band Deveria, which features Mohonasen Media Arts Teacher Marvin Veeder on bass, will put on a virtual concert to benefit MohonCARES – an ongoing initiative of the school district to provide clothing, food and other support to local families and students in need.

The concert will be broadcast from the high school on YouTube at  https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCwLGhdm8G6yAu5SO1AHBFCA beginning at 7 p.m. tonight, March 19.
Students (9-12) from the Media Arts & Live Production program will conduct the livestream, managing all production details before and during the benefit concert.
The concert is also being held to promote Mohonasen’s Saturday, March 20, food drive. Residents can drop off donations at the auditorium entrance to the high school between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Saturday.
Concert viewers will have the opportunity to donate to MohonCARES. Learn more about the MohonCARES program here.
