Mohon sports fans have two more chances to catch the school’s Unified Basketball team in action at home. The co-ed varsity team, which joins students with and without disabilities in competitive play, launched its season at home on Thursday, May 2 and is undefeated with a 3-0 record.

The two remaining home games are:

  • Thursday, May 16 vs. Cohoes at 4:30 p.m. at Mohonasen High School
  • Tuesday, May 21 vs. Scotia at 4:30 at Draper Middle School

Check out some of the photos from the May 2 game, where the team scored a solid win over Fort Plain, 51-36. At the game, student and team member Caitlyn Breen-Sostre gave an amazing performance of the national anthem in front of a large and supportive crowd of spectators. The Unified Cheerleading team provided additional support to the team on the court. The game against Fort Plain also featured one of the most recent “Warrior of the Week” award winners, Ben Parker, who scored 11 points.

Come out and support our undefeated Unified Basketball team!
