This past May, the Grade 7/8 Draper Orchestra traveled to Agawam, MA to participate in the Music in the Parks Competition. The students competed in the middle school string orchestra division against other schools from New York and Massachusetts.

The orchestra received a “Superior” rating, which means a score of over 91. In addition, they placed second in their division.

“The students did a wonderful job performing, but also made me so proud with their respectful behavior and amazing attitude,” said 7-12 Orchestra Director Kimberly Kondenar. “They made us really Mohon Proud!”
