Grab & Go Breakfast available at Draper beginning Nov. 13
Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Unfortunately, many students skip breakfast. The number one reason they say they don’t eat: not enough time.
Draper Middle School hopes to solve that problem by introducing a new Grab & Go Breakfast that students can pick up on their way into school and eat during homeroom.
The Grab & Go Breakfast will be available daily beginning Tuesday, Nov. 13. The cost is $1.50. It will consist of either a muffin or a Bagels and Bake bagel, plus a fruit and milk or juice.
Students are encouraged to stop by the cafe to pick up a Grab & Go but are reminded that the new breakfast offering is not an excuse to be late for homeroom. Students should also know that they need to finish the breakfast, clean up their area, and dispose of any trash before the end of homeroom period. Eating in the hallways or storing breakfast in lockers will not be allowed.
As always, the regular breakfast will still be available to eat in the cafeteria, also at a cost of $1.50. Cafeteria staff can help students find their ID# if they have forgotten it.
