Students in Mrs. Stott’s 7th grade home and careers class have been studying the elements of good nutrition in order to plan appropriate diets for themselves and others. As part of this unit, students prepared a healthful breakfast that included a serving from each of the five foods groups.

Students made eggs in a basket using 100 percent whole wheat bread along with a fruit and vegetable smoothie. The students then enjoyed this healthful and delicious meal!
