Get Up and Go! event is Thursday, April 12

Get Up and Go!, a career readiness event for students in grades 9 through 12 and their parents, will be held from 5:30-7:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 12, at the Center for Advanced Technology at Mohonasen, 400 Warrior Way, Schenectady.

Sponsored by the Mohonasen Business Advisory Board and the Schenectady Foundation, Get Up and Go! is designed as a hands-on experience where students can develop career readiness skills with the help of business owners and career support agencies from throughout the Capital Region. Topics to be addressed include:

Personal interest inventory
Interview skills
Resume preparation

Students must have a parent or responsible adult accompany them at this event.
