The French Honor Society sponsored the 12th Annual “Concours de la Mousse au Chocolat” (Chocolate Mousse Contest) after school on November 8.
Winners of the mousse contest were chosen in three categories. Tenth graders swept the contest. Best Overall went to Lily Flouton, Best Texture was awarded to Emily Gandrow, and Kayleigh Gervais won the prize for Most Original.
According to Patrick Keegan, Honor Society advisor, “This year was epic – there were 20 entries in the contest. Faculty, staff, and administrators love being asked to judge the contest. It is one of the most popular events of the year.”
There were traditional chocolate mousses and a variety of flavors including chocolate mint, fruit, and peanut butter. Students enjoyed tasting the mousse for themselves once the judging was over.
