PinewoodSpellers2Pinewood students were challenged with words including Bandersnatch, burrito and foist during the annual spelling bee Jan. 8.In the end, it was fifth grader Stella Bradshaw who was named top speller, with runner-up third grader Elizabeth (Lizzy) Lewis.

The winning word? Praline.
