Parents and students came out in full force last week to celebrate the opening of the First Annual Draper Art Show. Attendees commented positively on the quality and volume of the artistic creations in the show, and parents were enthusiastic about seeing artwork from their children on public display.
The show featured artwork from students in grades 6 through 8 that utilized a variety of media including graphite value drawings, collage, painting, sculpture, photography and digital arts. The show will be on display for two weeks until Wednesday, Jan. 25.
