Invention Convention semi-finalistsCongratulations to Draper Middle School students Jenna Lester, Tianna Harris, Alyssa Hamblet, Zachary Esposito, Halina King and Ashley Perretta, who were chosen as semi-finalists in the Invention Convention 2015 student invention program.

Invention Convention is an annual regional and statewide invention competition for students from grades K through 8. The students were among 100 semifinalists honored at a May reception at miSci.

Now in its 18th year, Invention Convention has engaged more than 14,000 students from this region in creative problem solving since the program began in 1998.
