Draper Middle School winter concert set for Dec. 14

This year’s Draper Middle School winter concert is set for Tuesday, December 14 in the High School auditorium. In order to have a successful and safe show, the event will feature set times for each performing group. Please use the chart below to find out your son and/or daughters arrival time and show time.

• 6th Grade Choir: 5:30 p.m. student arrival, 6:00 p.m. performance
• 7th/8th Grade Choir: 5:30 p.m. student arrival, 6:15 p.m. performance
• 6th Grade Orchestra: 6:00 p.m. student arrival, 6:30 p.m. performance
• 7th/8th Grade Orchestra: 6:15 p.m. student arrival, 6:45 p.m. performance
• 6th Grade Band: 6:45 p.m. student arrival, 7:15 p.m. performance
• 7/8th Grade Band: 6:45 p.m. student arrival, 7:30 p.m. performance

Parents of children in multiple ensembles are permitted to stay in the auditorium until your son and/or daughter is finished performing. However, in order to make a spacious environment for all groups, please plan to exit the auditorium promptly once your children are done performing. All guests attending our concerts must wear masks inside and leave 1 open seat between yourself and someone from a different household. We thank you in advance for following school policies and making the event a successful one!

Additional notes and reminders

Due to students warming up in the auditorium, doors to the room will not be open until 6 p.m. for parents. In addition, the doors will be closed during pieces of music to limit any distractions to our student performers. Ushers will open the doors in between songs to allow you time to be seated.

Choir students report directly to the auditorium; be sure to join your instrumental group as soon as possible after your performance.
Band students report directly to the HS band room.
6th Grade Orchestra students report directly to the HS Chorus room.
7th/8th Grade Orchestra students report directly to the HS orchestra room.

Please remember to bring your instrument home from school and bring it with you to the HS the evening of the concert.

Dress code for students is all black. Dresses and skirts must reach the knee.
