This morning, school officials at Draper Middle School were made aware of a generic bomb threat made toward the school on social media. A shelter-in-place was called around 8 a.m., and building administrators were able to quickly determine the author of the threats. In an abundance of caution, school officials conducted a thorough sweep of lockers, school hallways and bathrooms.
Nothing was found during this search, and it was determined that there was no credible threat to students or staff. Normal activities resumed as scheduled, following the sweep.
