Are you working with a student considering a future in applied learning and technology? The Center for Advanced Technology is a great place for students to learn, gain real-world experience and explore a career before they pursue college, technical school or enter the workforce upon graduation.
The Center will offer state-of-the-art facilities with lab spaces to simulate real working environments. A number of courses will be offered to students in the Mohonasen Central School District and districts across the Capital Region. Students taking classes at the Center may have the option to work toward earning a professional certificate that is recognized by employers in their chosen field of interest. Some classes also offer college credit, reducing the number of courses they may need to take and the cost to attend college. For further information on the classes and programs offered at the Center, view our brochure.
The Center offers students a viable option for hands-on career exploration while simultaneously meeting graduation requirements. In addition to potential industry certification and college credit, students are afforded a number of opportunities for their futures when they participate in programs at the Center.
Tours will be offered for prospective students beginning in Fall 2016. To discuss setting up a tour for your students, please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org indicating your interest or call the Center for Advanced Technology directly at (518) 356-8461.
