At Bradt Primary School’s morning assembly on Thursday, Dec. 22, students took a moment to learn about the importance of two character themes – kindness and generosity – right before they had the opportunity to put their understanding to good use.

The school presented a total of $395 to Help Orphan Puppies, a local rescue organization dedicated to saving puppies, pregnant dogs and nursing moms, regardless of abuse, injuries, medical needs or breed. The students were also treated to a special visit from one of the organization’s four-legged members as a thank you for their generosity.
