| June 25, 2021

The Board of Education sent a letter of thanks to the members of the Broadalbin-Perth Central School District Board of Education for raising their voices in support of removing the indoor mask requirement for school children. This week the BP Board wrote a letter rallying the community to contact local and state elected officials and express their opposition to the indoor mask-wearing mandate.

On June 12, the Mohonasen Board unanimously passed a resolution appealing to the state Department of Health to lift the indoor mask mandate, citing its harm to children, especially in hot weather. While the school year has ended, various summer programs will bring students back inside the building over the recess.
