Author James Preller visits Pinewood
Author James Preller paid a visit to Pinewood students in March. In addition to visiting with students during the day, Mr. Preller offered a family writing workshop in the evening.
Students also took part in a door-decorating contest, in which they decorated their classroom door as a billboard for one of the author’s books. Students included the title of the book(s) represented on the door and explained why someone should read it. The winning class served as Mr. Preller’s host for the day, introduced him at an assembly and decorated a parking lot sign for him.
Preller is author of the popular Jigsaw Jones Mysteries as well as numerous children’s books including “The Courage Test,” “Better Off Undead” and “The Case of The Best Pet Ever.”
