Mohonasen district residents will cast ballots in the proposed 2021-2022 school budget vote and Board of Education election on Tuesday, May 18.
The polls in the high school gymnasium will be open from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. All COVID-19 protocols will be in place, including social distancing and a requirement to wear a mask. District officials will direct voters through the voting process.
The proposed $56.5 million budget carries a 1.29% increase in spending and a 1.1% increase in the school tax levy.
Also on May 18, voters will consider a $3.25 million capital project proposition for health and safety improvements, and vote on a bus purchase proposition to replace six aging buses. Learn more in this recording of the 2021 Budget Hearing.
