Mohonasen High School recently hosted more than 200 of the area’s top student musicians — including more than 65 from Mohonasen — as part of the Schenectady Music All-County Festival. The event was a weekend-long festival that concluded with a concert for the community on January 26.

In addition to Mohonasen, other districts participating in the festival included Schenectady, Niskayuna, Scotia-Glenville, Schalmont, as well as Voorheesville and Cobleskill. Each ensemble was directed under a guest conductor.

“All of the students did an amazing job and the concert was very impressive. It was a pleasure to play host to so many talented musicians,” said Mohonasen Performing Arts Facilitator Kimberly Kondenar.
