20 music students represent high school at Area All-State Music Festival
Congratulations to the 20 Mohonasen High School students who will participate this weekend in the Area All-State Musical Festival at Saratoga Springs High School.
Students participate in rehearsal Nov. 17 and 18 prior to performing at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 18 at Saratoga Springs High School.
The students are among the top musicians in school districts in the greater Capital Region. Acceptance to Area-All State is based on a student’s New York State School Music Association (NYSSMA) solo score from the previous spring.
“This is a huge accomplishment, as competition for the festival is very high,” said Mohonasen Performing Arts Facilitator Kimberly Kondenar. “We are extremely proud of the students who will be representing the district this weekend.”
