Weatherbug Achieve Instructions and Links

Each time there
is a new login, the teacher or student using the computer will
need to login with Weatherbug Achieve. See below for instructions.
|
NOTE: Use of
the WeatherBug Achieve Web Site is a paid subscription. The
directions on these pages for logging into WeatherBug Achieve
are for Pinewood School students, parents, and teachers only. To
inquire about WeatherBug Achieve Memberships, please call their
Educational Account Managers at 1-800-544-4429 Option: 2.

| Once
there, you will always see the current conditions on the
top of our roof. Pass your mouse over the icons of the
different instruments in order to see all the
data. |

On
the left, you will see a menu with gold buttons.
If you click on Tools, then
click on Weather Observations, you will get a full screen box that includes
24-hour minimum and maximum measures along with rate of
change information.
The data is continuously updated (more
than once per minute). Click on Internet Explorer's
REFRESH button each time you want to see updated
data.

From this screen you can also access
both hourly and monthly historical data. You can even
generate graphical displays of the historical data.
Try clicking on the blue Daily
Obs, Monthly Obs, and Daily Graphs
buttons at the top of your screen. |
| Within the Tools
section, you will see many other useful options. Check them
all out. The Map Gallery is VERY NEAT. You can make your own
weather maps. |

LIBRARY sections have lots of links with useful information. Have fun exploring!
