Working with felt
paper is another tactile experience that students enjoy. Students practice
"writing" letters and letter combinations on felt paper to learn the correct
formation before working with paper and pencil. The felt paper helps them feel the
middle "dotted" line of the paper as well as the top and bottom
lines.
